Opening day is always challenging. The track equipment is sticky from being cold and unused for a few months. the track surface usually has very little grip as well. It was an exciting of racing as we begin our new season, and the results show that this year will have some new contenders.

ARCA - Jeremy Blood barely got the win over Adele Smith, who posted a career high second place finish.
Flemington Modifieds - The news wasn't that Jeremy Blood got the win over Steve Smith, but that 8 year old Gawain Smith was only one lap behind second, finishing third.

Modifieds - Jim Rhodes notches his first ever modified win, over Megan Blood.

Islips - Steve Smith gets the win over Jeremy Blood, with Jim Rhodes and Adele Smith close behind.
