Jeff Gordon S.C.O.R.E. Champ Dirt Car!

Postby Lancaster Tornado! » Sun Feb 10, 2013 6:30 pm

Just out of the Tornado Chassis Co. shop my new S.C.O.R.E. Champ Dirt Car build 1/24 scale. I had some custom decals made of Jeff Gordon's 1989 sprint car and thought it would make a good Champ Dirt Car, you know me I like to make something different all the time. This car will also have another hood and tail tank using a Gary Stanton Challenger #75, that way I can mix it up a little more.
Parts list,
Parma FCR chassis cut down,
Custom decal by Polecat decals,
S.C.O.R.E. rules used to make roll cage and nerf bars,
other bits and pieces from Professor Motor,
Hood and driver from Monogram Gambler sprint car kit, tail tank from AMT Grant King sprint car kit ( this tail is larger and makes a better Champ Dirt Car in my eyes )
thanks again for looking at my post, enjoy!

I like that combo of the Grant King tail and the Gambler hood.

Here's some new pictures of the same dirt champ car with Challenger Hood and Graphics, also we here at Tornado Chassis Co. are proud to introduce our newest employee, Lil' Joey Kokomo! Lil' Joey will be working after school ( Millersville University ) with us cleaning up the shop, restocking supplies, getting donuts, and learning to build midget, sprint and champ dirt chassis's. He's already has some great skills as a painter, here he is with his first champ dirt car that he painted for us, pretty good ah! enjoy! LOL!
