Only our own beloved Strange could look at this

and see a modified race car lurking inside.

That race car bears about as much resemblance to it's former self as Michael Jackson did.

Put the finishing touches on the NASH

Started as a $10 slosh casting from 873chris on e-bay.
Had to sand it quite a bit 'cuz It was cast from a 3-D print I think.
A couple heavy coats of primer between sandings resulted in this starting point.

Built a 3/64 brass rod chassis.
Getting kind of lazy & built a cage around the Piranha with a dab of solder to hold it in place.
(Just need a soldering iron instead of a screwdriver for motor install/removal) :D

Image

A little Dremel work, some Bondo, two coats of Ace Hardware white primer & one coat of Ace Hardware red.
Home-printed decals, Cox gears, Pro-Track wheels, home-cast urethane tires & Parma guide with Big Mama braid.

What?! No motor mount bracket? Is the motor soldered to the chassis or cage, or just held in place by the fit of the cage?

Very nice chassis work overall, as usual. What's the wheelbase on this creation?
