Some Chassis I've found that fit.

Image Old 1/24 strombecker Maserati chassis I found on ebay. It actually fits the Bigdonkey body pretty well.

There is none. Just build it so it looks good to you?

okay. Ive updated the list of participants. We have 14 names and the ranks are now closed. All others who wish to enter will be alternates and will be added in the event someone drops out. We will keep a record of all who ask to enter from today forward and the order of alternates will go according to the date each asked to join.

My apologies to Jeremy and Harry for losing count and going over the goal of 12. I hope it's not to much of an inconvenience...

Paul and Others,
If you are over on your head count, I'll be happy to drop. I mostly agreed to sign up in order to help ya'all get your dozen and said from the start that I would step aside if you had reached your number or if another person wanted my spot.

For those of your building the Revell kit, you have to check out 1toytruk's photo album on SCI. He has made GREAT progress building this kit. I've asked him to post in thread but you can see all the great pictures now in his album.

OK guys you have me interested. Are there any chassis rules? Like ground clearance tire diameters, tire widths and overall widths? I have a body from Woodguy but it seems a tad heavy for a racer. When do they need to be done? It looks like you can scratch build your own chassis??
I need a break from building flexi cars.

Hi Ken,

Just take a few minutes to review the initial few posts in this thread for the details. I do think that we have reached the maximum number of entrants for this event. We were initially going to limit it to 12 and I think because of my goof, we are up to 14 and want to keep it there. Of course, you can build right along with us and if someone drops out, you can enter as an alternate.

The cars aren't due to be mailed until March 15th.

Gene, the owner of tosaparkraceway, did a nice slide show of some of my midgets on his website in the "cars and area tracks" section. Check it out when you have chance. He also gave a plug for our proxy. I'm really looking forward to seeing what Gene submits for this event!

GTI sent me a couple of pics of his Midget Proxy entry. Very cool and original scheme. I like it a lot and it's very unigue. This is an EJ's kit.

Well done GTI!!
