Good old Joe! Helping figure out what I am going to do for years.
One if those projects you thought you knew what you were going to do...and then? Poof. That's ok, couple more cups and I'll get it sorted.

I'm sure it will be another stunner interested to see the paint you decide on. By the way what motor is that?

Either way you go, it'll be a gem. I'm enjoying mine while pouring orders this morning. Nothing like the smell of resin in the morning!

Well, not a bad day of building.
I'm not really a wire guy, so delving into new territory. Not an award winning effort buy a long shot, but it's straight and true.
Fun times. Coffee isn't that bad for you after all :)

Nice job....wire can give a chassis a certain dynamic (torsional rigidity) that brass rod/tube doesn't.
I usually have a main rail in wire and then add some brass rod as desired.
I am sure that chassis will handle well.

The chassis looks fine, it should be another winner. If you tire of bending wire, there's no reason why you can't substitute easier worked brass rod for the wire. I can't tell the dia. of your middle spacing rail, but if it's .078 wire, you might have to use something else unless you have some 2 mm. brass rod, but any size rod will work. The brass rod will provide you with a chassis slightly heavier, but not as stiff as the piano wire, two characteristics you may of may not want, John's suggestion of using brass rod rails & one piano wire rail for strength is a good one. This rail combination has been popular on 1/24 chassis for the last 10-12 yrs. & it still works. :)

Thanks guys.
The larger rail against the motor bracket was 3/32. Pretty large but I needed a little height for my mount tabs.
Out of the paint shop and ready for gear.
