Thanks. The antique ones are my favorite. They use 1/2" wide rears, 21k motors, and Sprints Plus or LVJ Champ chassis. They handle great and are pretty even in performance.

i love sprint cars, although these don't have the legacy rounded fuel tanks.
I also noticed that you use a really low wing angle. I always make mine always fairly steep, as the corners are the tricky part- does that mean that you don't have enough motor and you can't pull the extra drag down the straight? ours were always overpowered, as in nothing less than a super-16D, and sometimes a tagged-arm C-can 12 motor for the bigger tracks. our purpose for this class was to separate men from boys, so to speak, and put on a show. some of mine have drop arms so that you can come out of the tight corners on one or two wheels if you're lucky (and have good track power).
just curious.
thanks!

Those are actually Super Modifieds. We get the bodies from realityraceway.net and nymodifieds.com Being a flat track, we run FK130 style motors like JK Hawks, Falcons, etc. They are plenty fast. No banking at all, 55 foot lap, 2 seconds.
