Break out racing

Messing arround with different Track Mate race formats and the Break out feature is a blast......My D Oval has a sgueze that really comes into play with ghost trucks on either side of you.....I set the break out time at 3.900 seconds so you cant do any laps faster then that....Ran several 50 lap races but look at the stats on this one.....I let the the 2 trucks get a jump at the start so I had to work at passing them.....Red lane -outside ,White - center , Orange - inside....The ghost trucks have clean foam tires wile the other has the tires breaking loose just so.....

Mr Woodman, I'm new to all this ghost stuff....please correct me where I'm wrong:
You control the centre lane with your controller...the two lanes beside you are controlled by whom/what?
Is your track analog or digital?

The ghost trucks would be set at the highest possible constant speed. If the breakout was set very close to that speed it would be difficult to pass without losing a lap. When I was doing breakout racing on a 1/24th commercial oval track the breakout time was set so most people could run flat out around the outside lanes, but would have to take it easy on at least the two inside lanes. It was easy to forget the breakout and lose a lap every now and again.
