in the shaping process: I think a 69-70 Mustang is another missing hot rod in the oval racing category. So I am getting a good start on a pretty radical low slung entry. Hopefully ready in time for the Showdown Series.

Last night at one of my HO racing clubs, I was the only guy running a FoMoCo body for the entire event. The track for last night's races runs the crash and burn type. We allow different cars to be run in those type of events, so long as they are all the same tech specification. This club runs the FRACAS T-Jet set up, which is a much cheaper version of a FRAY or ECHORR set up. I currently run Aurora bodied '67 T-Bird, '67 Galaxie, and '69 Torino cars. The Torino cleaned up last night. A '69 Mach 1 Mustang is in the works.
Looking forward to seeing what this new 1/32 Scaley Mustang build looks like when it's completed.

that`s some big holes I cut in there. :doh:



No worries .. the flares are set at 2-3/8" as is before shaping, so it will fit well within the 2-5/8" width Showdown rule.
Also added a raised hood which adds a little thickness to the front end. These Scaley bodies are thin anyway.
