Well would certainly try it (this one). As mentioned, the motor is stronger than you might think, especially geared the way it is. I think the pod system is much improved over others, having a very smooth float to it.

You might be dead on the money. In some conditions where you could work the gearing, it should be very close. Different track sizes will be a factor of course. The printed data for the motors are one thing, how they "feel" on the track is often different. Such as with the MX16 (Orange) mot...

Same power supply I have been using on the 3 Lane MIDMO for 1/32. More than enough AMPS for any 1/32 we run. 3 years still going.

Well, you can get a good adjustable supply for less than $55 shipped. Just picked up a new 10 amp unit which is fine for 4 lanes using our regular motors. (Scaley, Carrera, Slot.it) on wood. If you add these to it to have the “fine tuning” per lane as you mentioned, your still only around $75 invest...
