Re: Problem tuning a Fly.

Well, I'm glad that works for you. I never heard of anyone doing that before. My Fly cars with pods run great, and I throw away the Fly rears first thing. Some people have had them melt when stored. That hasn't happened to me (on the front tires that I keep), though.

Re: Scratch Building is?

This is going to be one HUGE piece of bandwidth. I just counted the photos I want to put on here, and there's 30 of them, after I tossed out a lot. I will go back and kick out some more and post them later.

Re: cataract news

Thanks, Ken. At our age, motorcycles can be awful hard on the bones.

Re: Fly Classic Lola T70 conversion

Its very easy to make perfect inserts from the Fly wheels. You might like that on all of these. Just spin them down with a fingernail file, sand paper, just about anything.

Does it feel weird to have a Fly car you've had for a while, and have run a lot, suddenly run like a scratchbuilt?

Re: Problem tuning a Fly.

I never had a Fly or a GB Track car that needed major work. Not once. More often than not, there are some hilarious antics from them right from the box, but nothing even close to a major fault. As I said before, go read the post "Fix that Fly" by Slotpoor on HRW. If you want to see cars th...

Re: Scratch Building is?

Guys, I have been working on this for 4 hours, (of course, my kids could do this in 5 minutes while playing a video game, tap dancing, typing into a phone, and eating supper. I hope it doesn't crash the site, but here it is. It is all scratchbuilding and modelling. This is edited down from twice as ...

Re: Bracing for Irma

Bob, when I was a boy on the Gulf Coast, we went through a lot of hurricanes. The first I remember was Betty, that destroyed all the sugar cane from west of New Orleans to west of Houston wrecking Sugarland, TX, but the killer was Camille, and it was incredible, but it was unimaginably even worse wi...

Re: Scratch Building is?

Jeff, that's exactly what happened to me! I originally had 30 some-odd, then 55, then I gave up and made that collage with what would fit.

By the way, that Plymouth Savoy is still my favorite.

Re: Bracing for Irma

My boy in Athens says that a big tree blew down and not only blocked their street, it knocked out power for the whole area. They parked and walked in to check on things before going back to where they evacuated for tonight. They hope to go back tomorrow and clean up. The neighborhood is a real mess.

Re: Thunder Slot Lola T70 CAN AM

Well, this all answers my question. Its hard to believe that people can go to the trouble of creating a manufacturing plant, market the product in today's insane business world, and a hundred other hurdles to hop over, then drop the ball completely by overestimating what consumers will pay, and disr...

Does anyone have one of their Spyker cars? I have admired them but never really pursued getting one.

Re: WTB one or two Carrera Cobra Roadsters

Spencer, I'll look tomorrow. I prefer the MRRC and others in that marque, so if I have one, it may be even more than you want.
