Re: Cars I miss

Here's one I miss. I know they were cantankerous to tune but they were gorgeous cars on the track. I'd love to see these back on the shelves.

Re: Cars I miss

Those are all great choices Boss. But look at the bright side, we have 56 different versions of the first generation Camaro to choose from. Not to mention 64 versions of the Mustang. :D

Re: Air brush & Compressor help!

Y'all promise not to laugh? :shhh: Some of those familiar with VW products might remember that they powered the Bugs windshield washer via the spare tire. Like your not gonna get a flat tire during rainy weather. I digress. Here's a low buck McPressor to bridge the gap between canned air and the hi...

Re: What happened to all of the older For Sale posts

I's possible that some of the original posters removed their own ads. We usually try and clean them out once in a while to keep the For Sale section current. No one wants to wade through year old ads.

I do agree though, the current section looks a little weird.

Re: The Great Hudson Hullabaloo Build Off 2017!!!!

Hey Guys! I've been holding off posting until as many of the cars have been arriving daily. I wanted to get a big group shot. I know a few of you are still thrashing to get here and you have all week. I will actually have a couple guys here this weekend to run the cars with me, so we will have an ac...

Re: PanAm NewZealand @ The Anaconda, Hawkes Bay.

Hi Dave, I removed the VW body from its unique mounting points and was able to bend the guide tongue into a better position by hand, no tools. The front wheels are on the deck and the car runs and looks much better this way. Hi Dave, I will look at those rears for you. And Dave...sorry to hear you ...

Re: Air brush & Compressor help!

Greg, there's some great advice for ya. I haven't been painting as long as our Model Murdering friend has but my career does go back to the Carter era. You can't go wrong with the Iwata double action airbrush. Gravity feed is optimal just for the quick color change option. But if you're heart is set...

Re: foil tutorial

I'm with Greg on this one. Don't be afraid of it. It's really not as hard as it seems. The key is to have a brand new blade to score it and Q-Tips and toothpicks for burnishing it down.

I too will be foiling a car in the next week or so. I'll make a short video of how I do it.
