Re: The Great Hudson Hullabaloo Build Off 2017! Q Run is in!

I am curious. Did everyone build a pan chassis? Would it be possible to post a shot (a group shot would be okay) of the scratch built chassis? Since the rules require a metal chassis, I think the design of the chassis is at least as interesting as the paint/livery of the models. All of the entries ...

Re: The Great Hudson Hullabaloo Build Off 2017! Q Run is in!

Yes, that is Broman's car. I have dubbed it, "The Grocery Getter". It's a sleeper for sure! Look where it ended up in the Q run! I will be starting a separate thread for the race itself. Keep an eye out for it in a little bit. The race will take place later this evening, when it cools off ...

Re: 1/32 Opel GT

I've always had a soft spot for the Opel GT. When I was 16, I wanted one so bad. I thought it looked like a mini Corvette.

I'll be watching this one!

Re: The Great Hudson Hullabaloo Build Off 2017!!!!

Thanks for the advice Rob, I did almost exactly that! I did manage to get the Q run in. Albeit late but it's done. This is a fairly even field of cars. The fasted time logged was 48 laps, 2.961 and the slowest was 41 laps, 3.371. So here's how the starting order shakes out. Broman62 TuscoTodd HRW bt...

Re: The Great Hudson Hullabaloo Build Off 2017!!!!

Okay Fellas, the last car arrived today. Todd, what a beauty! I'm going to do a shake down run with them tonight and a quick qualifying run to determine starting order. Then the main event will happen tomorrow evening when it cools off. My friend is supposed to be coming over to help me run the cars...

Re: Cars I miss

Here's one I miss. I know they were cantankerous to tune but they were gorgeous cars on the track. I'd love to see these back on the shelves.

Re: Cars I miss

Those are all great choices Boss. But look at the bright side, we have 56 different versions of the first generation Camaro to choose from. Not to mention 64 versions of the Mustang. :D

Re: Air brush & Compressor help!

Y'all promise not to laugh? :shhh: Some of those familiar with VW products might remember that they powered the Bugs windshield washer via the spare tire. Like your not gonna get a flat tire during rainy weather. I digress. Here's a low buck McPressor to bridge the gap between canned air and the hi...

Re: What happened to all of the older For Sale posts

I's possible that some of the original posters removed their own ads. We usually try and clean them out once in a while to keep the For Sale section current. No one wants to wade through year old ads.

I do agree though, the current section looks a little weird.
