Re: Michigan 8th annual 24 hour race

I've seen it done either way many times, and the "post race" seems to catch more dirty fish than any other way. I always liked it that way because it gave me more time with the beer before the official results were announced, and more beer is always good.

Re: Tinkering again...

Those always were the most impressive scale cars in the vac formed group. Its like they went out of their way to do a great job on them.

Re: Sideways Lamborghini "Gulf Edition"

Paul Gage to the rescue! And after all the hundreds of inserts we have made from plastic wheels, that insert fix isn't going to take 30 minutes.

Re: Music for You Trans-Am Racers - Paul Revere 250

That was fun. Isn't it interesting how the fuzz tone bridge in that song sounded just like the early psychedelic rock from Strawberry Alarm Clock, Status Quo, Lemon Pipers, Union Gap, and Manfred Mann. They positioned themselves exactly in the 1968 genre... unlike my band, who couldn't afford the pe...

Re: Scalextric Goodsmile Hatsune Miku Mercedes

Are these cartoony liveries depicting real cars? Are cartoons really sponsoring racing teams?

Re: NSR Mosler - Salvatore Noviello, 5th Anniversary

I'd love to have it, for him and his son. I hope it isn't insanely priced like so many "collectible" things are. It insults the memory of a fine man, gone far too soon.

Re: Doesn't look like Jim Hall to me...

Funny someone would make that mistake, the Chaparral wheels were so very distinctive for their time. It was a major point of interest in the magazines. I wouldn't think a factory would have a surplus of good looking wheels like that and try to palm them off? Like the man said, WTF?
