Re: Oh what to do

What kills ya is when they do something like that and look at you like, "See what I did? Aren't you proud of me? Love me, love me, love me!"

Re: Oh what to do

Hmmm... Racie, that reminds me of a Lewis Grizzard story that ends with "That dog'll bite yew!" Does anyone know that story?

Re: Rear wheel air system

You have got to be kidding! It isn't a system, it isn't new, and the only thing that is "air" about it is that it exists on earth, surrounded by our atmosphere. What a hoot! Who is the manufacturer of such a silly naming? Maybe its a bad translation of some European language? It can happen...

Re: Grease sidewinder gears?

I find the grease that R/C guys use to be excellent for slot cars. I have Vanquish cars that run perfectly with the original differentials because I packed the diffs with this grease as soon as I got them home. Other folks saw their Vanquish cars become unusable, and had to revert to ordinary drive ...

Re: Rear wheel air system

I love the way any post on HRW can become a source of fun and laughter. Hey Jesla, based on my knowledge of Saturday nights in East Tennessee, maybe we should look into the genes in Sunbright, Sweetwater, and Etowah. You just never know what they got up to in the hills.

Re: MRRC Cheetah

That's what I did. Makes a huge difference difference in the look and the handling. I'm looking at other MRRC cars, like the Kellison, etc. I was amazed.

Re: Rear wheel air system

That'll be a great trip. Bruce's place is amazing. I miss it. Plan on a whole day drooling in the AF Museum at Wright-Patterson. Seeing a PBY hanging just overhead from the roof is reason enough... then there's the B-36, and about a thousand other things... maybe two days drooling. Sarge (TsgtRet- D...

Re: 3 more Fiats

Alexis, you may not be aware that for a short time, Fiat cars were very popular in cities in the US. My buddy had an 850 Spyder that he raced and another one he drove every day. I had a 124 Spyder for years, and rallyed it, and another friend had an 850 Coupe. For a while, Topolinos were commonplace...

That's why I wore a tuxedo to my vasectomy. If I'm going to be impotent, I should look impotent.

Re: Oh what to do

Our old Bassett Hound grabbed the tablecloth and pulled Thanksgiving dinner off the table to crash on the floor. Broken glass everywhere, and she was charging at the turkey when I got to her. Yes, we had guests, yes, dinner was completely ruined, and yes, we had frozen pizzas after we cleaned it all...

Re: question - gripwise for redone area

I'm not sure I understand the question. Why not use the roller to match the rest of the track, assuring success? Anything else means you may be having to come back to it and accommodate things you don't know about now. As for grip, new paint will always take a while to cure, and even longer to pick ...
