Re: V solo racing season.First Round.

Wait a minute here- Seems to me that Ms Ryan is about 20 years old. How does this math work in Alberta? Is it really cold enough in the Plains that she is that well-preserved? Cold storage doesn't work that well. What's goin' on up there?

Re: Hey Carrera,

That is an all-time favorite Ferrari, and I believe there are several liveries to do.

Re: The Great Hudson Hullabaloo Build Off 2017!!!!

I guess mine can stay at Harry's and miss California. With all those details, they probably shouldn't be run hard anyway. They were mailed several days before the change of plan. In fact, they should arrive at Harry's today.

Re: The Great Hudson Hullabaloo Build Off 2017!!!!

I thought the Nuts box would get her attention, but it is far after all. I was planning a trip years ago to bring Jenny and her father and Kurt, and the straight-thru driving time is 17 hours, including picking up Kurt. Without carrying anyone with me, I could start at midnight and arrive in the mid...

Re: HF Air Compressors

I don't know if its still true, but my old HF compressor from years ago was crazy loud. See if you can get them to plug it in at the store. For that price, its worth some research.

Re: HF Air Compressors

David has the important point here- My old one was oiless, and they are always louder (see Sears from 30 years back), so that explains it all. I finally went with a huge 240v 2-cylinder unit from HF, and it is so much quieter, even my wife doesn't mind it. The guy who used to work for me had a littl...

Re: Air brush & Compressor help!

I had decided not to respond, since you got the best advice already as far as I know. Then Micromark sent me a sale catalogue that actually has good sale prices on quality stuff.

You need to look at this. http://www.micromark.com/

Re: Le Mans 24

I can't find any access in the world to get LeMans without paying the creeps at cable TV. Roku has no access unless you also pay cable, so why bother with Roku? Online access is also connected to the Fox bastards. Unless the computer you are using is linked to a cable outfit, you can't get it. The s...

Re: Le Mans 24

I just discovered that Sling Blue gets me LeMans, cheap as long as I am careful to kill it after tomorrow.

Re: chrome paint pens

I used the little tip for details on dashboards on my latest projects. Oddly, the big tip is better for slim details on the body that stand out from the body in general.

Re: foil tutorial

I had a '73 Cutlass Supreme 455 as a loaner car when some serious warranty work was being done on my car. The dealer was trying to sell me on a hotter car while my cheap racer was being fixed from a stupid design flaw. For over a week, my newlywed wife and I shaded the hell out of my old bachelor bu...

Re: Attn. Ol Pharts!

Ah, Grasshopper Mikey... Some of us old farts have had glasses since high school- for us, its the looming future of cataract surgery to dread. Doom, gloom, tragedy, dispair... but we still have our toy cars!
