Re: How I'm spending the rest of my week

Thanks for the advice. Rest assured, I will do everything I'm told to to rehab this properly. I broke my first bone last year (my foot) at 44. Rehab'd in 4 weeks. I'm in very good shape and hike and bike weekly. I also walk everywhere. I was just getting back into my fighting shape as I call it when...

Re: How Many (1/32) Slot Cars In Your Stable?

I started the year around 250. I've since sold off a bunch that I felt that I just didn't need. I've got the collection whittled down to the following: 48 Trans-Am (16 my resin creations) 21 Can-Am (7 my resin creations) 25 Classic Sports Cars (2 my resin creations) 25 Classic Stock Cars (10 my resi...

Fred,

The PM should work fine as I used to run some, the DiFalco...not sure about that on AC. Let me know if you're headed this way.

Re: Vintage advertisment

Great Ads! I recently picked up one of Robert Schleicher's old books from the 1960's that shows a bunch of these cars. Really love that era!

Re: Professor Motor Upgrade

I've used one of these before and think it's one of the best controllers I've ever touched. Very nice upgrade!

Re: TGIF! Any fun slotting plans?

Spent Friday evening at my daughter's HS football game - sadly, they just barely lost but made it exciting. My daughter dances on the POMS team, and their halftime show was excellent! Took a drive yesterday to see the fall colors as they are going early this year with the drought conditions and then...

Re: Vintage GP Grid!

Glad you guys like these. I really love this era. I'm about to order some tires from Paul for the Scaly GP cars and that will really put them on par with these. Of course, I'll have to wait until I have two arms to do anything with them... As for the 6-wheeled cars -I grew up in Europe and saw these...
