Re: Mounting PG Tires

Nice tutorial! I need to get some slower setting glue... I have been using standard loctite and you literally have seconds to get things squared away before you have an out of square out of round tire/wheel combo... Can be very frustrating. I unfortunately run with magnets, full voltage, with the st...

Re: Scalextric White Cougar Project

That looks AWESOME!!! As a big fan of the Cougar body style - I love seeing "new" versions of these painted up! :D Looking at the drivetrain - what did you use for a spur gear to keep the wheels in tight? (I am looking to mod one of mine for a new non-mag class that is starting at the loca...

Re: P-BOP cars stop over for a little street racing!

Bob - that is a good question! I am not sure of the length of the shut down - but it is comprised of shorted braid with a glued track surface. There are foam blocks at the end as a safety but I haven't seen a 1/32 car get anywhere near that. :) (for reference, our Spec Drag cars which are go...

Re: P-BOP cars stop over for a little street racing!

Retro - We will have to check into the viability of a "1320" line - but depending on how many cars we get, and how close they are in performance - it might not be practical. (especially with using the common launch) For now I would figure on 1760 for the first venue to be safe... :) (we ar...
