As you know I mostly run solo. So the fine tuning of the models doesn't stop at the car itself. Once I tried more advanced controllers I discovered what you have. They do make a difference.

I don't think you will get much in elevation with what you have. There is no way I know of to tell without (you guessed it) actually taking it apart. Unless you can raise some of the table legs and see what flex you can get?

I used 1.5 because that's what I had at the time. Many moons ago I used almost every variety of width and thickness on my oval. Just to test and see which one I liked best. 1.5 was the toughest and help up to the hard racing we did on the oval better than others. But if you are trying to get around ...
