Re: Saturday night at R-A Speedway!

The final class for the evening were the "Friday Night Cars"! These are lightly modified Auto World / Johnny Lightning cars that border on the "box stock" side of things and are a hoot to race as they are definitely a "driver's" car as they have more power than even the...

Saturday night at R-A Speedway!

A number of us were invited back to Hangtime's home in Cuyahoga Falls, OH for an evening of food, fun and laughs on his "still not officially named" Max Trax track last night. :D After some shake down action and some tasty eats - we kicked off the racing with the Stock T-jet class! The tra...

Re: Semi Live Coverage - Showdown 2018!

I missed it too! WAY too many work hours since November! :( Things finally seem to be calming down a bit finally - so I should be able to get back to a bit of building and racing again soon! (In fact, had an opportunity to do a little small scale running last night) Again - looks like a GREAT time h...

Re: VI Solo Racing Season. 6th Round

While the Mini didn't win, the cheers from the crowd when it briefly took the lead made the entire team feel proud! So even while Team Mini was well outgunned on this round spirits remain high!

Re: table sides

I use small Christmas trees that were picked up really cheap in post Christmas sales. They vary and range in height from about 10 inches to 4 inches but the common factor is they all have a twisted wire "trunk" so just a simple matter of drilling a hole and shove 'em in. My track is about...

Re: Saturday night at Iceman Raceway!

The next class to hit the track were the stock Aurora T-jets! For this class we had a theme this race - everyone had to run a "Hauler" body (pickup, van, station wagon, etc) - the higher center of gravity and skinny tires of the "stock" class made for some pretty entertaining rac...

Re: VI Solo Racing Season. 4th Round

The Buckeye team is using this break to see if they can't tighten up some of the loose bits on the Mini (the driver's seat really isn't meant to move up and down and side to side as you enter corners)... Once that is done - they may even spring for a wash job to get the grease from the celebratory p...
