A little Colorado Color Tour and Jeep action for you!

After moving, painting the whole house, fixing tons of stuff, re-starting RMS in the new shop, and building a new track, we finally had a FUN weekend! We went wheeling with my sister and her family to see some Colorado colors before it is too late. Saturday we went to Aspen Ridge, an easy trail with...

Trans-Am Series Race #9 - Pebblestone Model Car Circuit

Folks, just a quick update - Dennis should have time about the second week of October to run the next leg before they come to the NEW PDR track.

I'll also get off my tail and post the rules for the 2018 version this week.

Stay tuned!

Re: Bracing for Irma

The Captain and his wife left Patrick AFB on Friday and are riding it out in Gainesville with friends. They have full tanks of gas and food and are in a real house that is in an elevated area of town so hopefully they are safe. Wendy's brother has her mom with him at his house in Tampa (Parrish) - i...

Re: Scratch Building is?

These are all great builds!!! Everyone of them!

I have to say though - for sheer tenacity to do it all, Clive is just short of probably refining his own petroleum products to make his molds and resins. That is seriously a ground-up build!

News about Tsgt.Ret

Folks, Someone once told me that early in life everything is weddings and baby showers that eventually give way to hospitals and funerals. This note is along those lines. Many of us have known David Teft (TsgtRet) here on HRW for sometime. He's been a regular contributor here and David and I have a ...

Re: One thing I really wish I had done differently......

I feel your pain. On larger tables, especially against walls, it can be hard to reach. With that in mind, when I routed my first track, I specifically planned for this issue: " In order to ensure I could touch every inch of the track, the bench work needed to be a max of 3' wide, except where I...
