Using Postimage

Since Photobucket is no longer worth using, here is a easy free photo hosting site: POSTIMAGES LINK When you upload, have it resize your photo if you have not done so already. Many people don't anymore as sites like FB, etc do it for them. The max size for HRW is 900, but use the 800 wide option. Ju...

Re: Welcome ALL Newcomers!

Welcome folks, great to have you here.

ARC PRO. Hmmmm. I have a friend doing great things with it.

For easy photo hosting a lot of guys are now using: Postimage LINK HERE

Choose resize to 800 wide. Otherwise the forum will resize and it slows your posts down.

Re: Carrera guide replacement

On some that can work, but not all. You can also use offset bushings.

Re: T-Bird Mod

What a great car and effort. All the modeling is cool as usual, but the "liberated" Sterling Marlin decals are just classic.

Re: Carrera guide replacement

Never heard of them. The issue for most Carrera is the height of the entire guide system , not the depth or length of the blade. They are mounted too high in the chassis and allow too much weight on the front. This makes the stock blade shallow in the slot, but just a deeper blade is not going to fi...

Re: How do I slow down the slim FF motors?

What a concept newbie :) Unfortunately, in these cars that doesn't work all that well. These motors just have too much torque and speed in non-magnet form (to me anyway) Having low cost motor options like the Minnow, M/T, etc make it a little easier on my wallet and worth the investment for me. Once...

Re: Easy Routed Track - Building Bottomland Speedway

Yes it was a 4 x 12.

No. The routed part is the slot only. I used copper tape and not braid for this track.

Re: Magnets or no magnets , help me wunderstand

It is nothing more than personal preference. Some people enjoy cars with magnets. They add even more and want that car planted as hard as it can be. If fun is being had? Mission accomplished. Others prefer the tuning challenges and the related driving challenge of non magnet. I don’t have any deep h...
